Charisma Carpenter on her 'Supernatural' reunion with James Marsters

Tonight's episode of "Supernatural" is a geeky dream, reuniting "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-stars Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters as dueling witches with an 800-year history. Carpenter's character, Maggie, has been wronged by her husband, Don -- and she's not about to let it go quietly."If you've seen 'Angel' and 'Buffy,' she's very Cordy un-like," Carpenter tells us. "She's a little bit of a petulant child. She wants her way, and she's a powerful, angry, jealous witch. All of that made me want to take the role. Those are the fun characters to play, you get to feel sexy." On "Buffy," Carpenter and Marsters didn't work together much, so the chemistry between them in this "Supernatural" episode is a little taste of what could have been. "We knew each other really well just from being on set and standing by, but we didn't actually have a lot of screen time together," she says. "Still, it...

'Supernatural' deleted scene: Jared Padalecki sweeps up the cutting room floor

We teased you guys about Jared Padalecki's sweaty scenes in this week's "Supernatural," and now Jared himself is doing the teasing. Thursday afternoon, he tweeted a scene that ended up on the cutting room floor. We can't imagine why it didn't make the final episode..."Can you help me stretch my groin? I'm going to need two hands," Sam asks, fresh from a morning run. Clearly, Jared is doing his very best to get co-star Jensen Ackles to crack up during his coverage -- but Jensen doesn't break once. Is he made of stone?Basically, we're obsessed with this scene. Jared should've joined Twitter years ago -- usually we have to wait for the DVDs to get our hands on the blooper reel! Tune in to the episode Friday night at 9 p.m. PST on The CW to see just how much of this made it into the final cut.(Spoiler alert: Not a lot.)...

Supernatural Promo: It's a Buffy Reunion in Episode 7.05 "Shut Up, Dr. Phil"!

This week's episode of Supernatural was all about guilty - something the Winchesters have in spade.  Dean, in particular, has always felt tremendously guilty...for the people he couldn't save, or the loved ones who died in the line of duty, or, in particular, for failing his brother.  The boys headed to Dearborn, Michigan to investigate a string of murders, only to figure out what the person doing the killing was an Egyptian god, Osiris.  More specifically, he was setting up trials, where he would weigh the guilt of people and punish those who believed they had something to feel guilty for. Osiris honed in on Dean, calling Jo's ghost as a witness.  Sam stepped in to defend his brother, but Dean was prepared to die so that Sam didn't find out about Amy.  Fortunately, Sam was able to kill Osiris just before Jo's ghost could kill Dean. In the October 21 episode, Buffy alums Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters guest star as Maggie and Donald Stark.  After Don cheated on her, Maggie decides to unleash her witchy powers on her unsuspecting down.  Since these attacks result in numerous deaths, Sam and Dean investigate.  Once they find the source of the problem, they track down Don to see if he can help stop his wife.
