The Amazing Race is an American multiple Emmy Award-winning reality game show normally broadcast in one-hour episodes in which teams of two or four race around the world in competition with other teams. The CBS program has been on-air since 2001 and has recently completed its tenth season. It is produced by Earthview Inc., Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri's production company, as well as Bruckheimer Television for CBS and Touchstone Television (technically making it partially a Disney show). The show is hosted by New Zealander Phil Keoghan. It was created by Elise Doganieri and Bertram van Munster. It has been awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality/Competition Program every year since the category was created in 2003.

This is a great show, every season I like following the relationship between the pair's how they grow and change. I enjoy watching the teams how they are so different from each another. The racing is one the best parts of the show. I love how they travel all around the world and it's always exciting to see who gets eliminated.

Hate this show! It always show's people being mean to each other, and apparently this makes good TV.

So fun! What I love about this show is that it has the voyeuristic aspect of reality tv that is so addictive, but it combines it with awesome travel and challenges so at the end of it you don't feel like you wasted an hour of your life just watching other people being stupid.

I've watched this series since the beginning, and it never gets old. Love seeing places I will never get to actually visit...plus, Phils' eyebrow thing is too cute... XD)

Quite possibly the most entertaining game show of all time. With twists and turns almost every episode as well as a diverse group of contestants, the Amazing Race pits 12 teams of 2 in a literal race around the world for a million dollars. Quite possibly the most entertaining game show of all time. Personally I've always wanted to be on a games show, but if I could only ever do one this would be it. The challenges range from the surprisingly difficult physical (rolling 20lb wheels of cheese downhill) to the cerebral (remembering the flags of the nations visited in proper order) to extreme exercises in patience (literally finding a clue in a haystack). Sometimes inspiring and sometimes sad, but always exciting, the Amazing Race s one of the very few shows that actually lives up to its name.

One of my favourite reality-competition shows. You get to see many wonderful places and cultures and it doesn't rely just on dramatic to keep things interesting.
