The Baader Meinhof Complex is a German Drama from 2008, directed by Uli Edel, written and produced by Bernd Eichinger. It is based on a non-fictional book by Stefan Aust. Ulrike Meinhof and Andreas Baader were two of the central members of The Red Army Fraction, a german terrorist group who were responsible for morderous bomb attacks. The plot tells their story from the beginning of the group in the late 1960's to the end of the "German Autumn" in 1977, a set of events revolving around the abduction of Hanns-Martin Schleyer.
