5 Reasons We Love Watching: The Bachelorette

Ah, yes…. The Bachelorette . It’s like The Bachelor ’s sad little sister (or ex-girlfriend?)—a slightly shorter, slightly less popular, but still oh-so-entertaining guilty pleasure that’s been forever banished to the no-man’s-land of summer TV season. That said, ABC is dead-set on finding ways to keep it fresh, hence this season’s highly-controversial DOUBLE BACHELORETTE TWIST. Desperate as it may sound, if you’re someone like me who has close to zero shame when it comes to your reality TV watching habits, you’ll still watch it anyway, no matter how dirty you feel while doing it (that’s what the wine is for). You gotta admit, this show has its perks: hot dudes, hot dudes in suits, hot dudes shirtless, hot dudes fighting, hot dudes crying, and lots of pretty dresses that almost make you wish you were the Bachelorette. Almost. Aside from those obvious wins, here are 5 more reasons we love watching: 5. Those cringe-worthy limo introductions just get better and better. 4. Although the couples rarely (read: pretty much never) work out, sometimes it’s fun to pretend they stand a chance. 3. GROUP DATES! They’re so embarrassing. These guys will really do anything for a rose. It’s fabulous. 2. Never forget: one Bachelorette’s trash may end up as the next Bachelor treasure*! *I use the term "treasure" loosely. 1. Chris Harrison. He’s often our only anchor of sanity. On the show and in life. Catch The Bachelorette Mondays at 8pm on ABC . div.reason h3 { clear: both; padding-top: 30px; } div.reason img { float: left; width: 400px; } div.reason p { clear: both; }

Which Bachelors and Bachelorettes Went Back to Their Day Jobs?

And it's glorious.
