Is This the Worst Season of 'The Bachelorette' Ever?

If you're not in the mood to read all the reasons (it's Friday, after all), let me just answer my own question upfront: Yes. Yes, I believe that this is the worst season of The Bachelorette (or The Bachelor!) ever. And from all the comments, water cooler talk and actual conversations I've seen since Ashley Hebert started her Bachelorette adventure six weeks ago, I get the strong sense that I'm not alone. "Ashley is so annoying!" seems to be the most common complaint. Just last night, a friend who knows that I blog about the show wrote on my Facebook wall that "this Bachelorette has to be the most desperate of them all ... and that is saying something."

Video: Emily Maynard Says Ashley Hebert Was "Too Honest" About Bentley in Episode 6

We know that Bachelorette Ashley H. wasn't too smooth in her delivery when she told the guys that Bentley had come to Hong Kong in Season 7, Episode 6. But "too honest"? Season 15 winner (and crusher?) of Brad Womack's heart, Emily Maynard, seemed to think so in her recap of the cringe-worthy ep featuring Bentley Williams's return. She also teased her upcoming interview with Chris  Harrison, which is sure to provide a few cringe-worthy moments of its own with talk of her breakup with Brad....

Awkward! Ashley and Lucas Get Their Fortune Told in Unseen Footage From Bachelorette Season 7, Episode 6

Bachelorette Ashley H. asks a legitimate question when she and Lucas visit a fortune teller during their first 1-on-1 date. Unfortunately for Lucas, we totally agree with the teller's initial reading.

Extended Sneak Peek! Ashley Gets Her Heart Broken (Again) on Season 7 of The Bachelorette

There's no new episode on July 4 (tear!), but the rest of Season 7 of The Bachelorette looks so romantic, so emotional, and so amazing that we're okay with that. We need an extra week to prepare ourselves!

'Bachelorette' Deleted Scenes: A Little Birdy Tells Lucas and Ashley Their Love Fortune

As you likely know by now, next Monday is the Fourth of July, so there will be no new Bachelorette episode. THANKS, UNCLE SAM! Which means you've got almost two weeks to watch these deleted scenes from last night's episode. To watch them now, or wait and savor them later? That's your choice as a free American. (To my international readers: Hi! I love you, too. Please know that not all of us look and act like the people on this show.) When you're ready, here are this week's clips:

"Bentley, If You're Watching This, F--k You!" Top 10 Quotes From The Bachelorette Season 7, Episode 6

Bachelors say the darndest things — but not half as darned as Ashley Hebert when she’s mad. Here are 10 of our favorite quotes from the Hong Kong drama on The Bachelorette Season 7, Episode 6:

Bachelorette's Harrison on Mickey's Accidental Exit and Next Episode's Interview with Emily

When  Bachelorette  host Chris Harrison told usthe men would unravel after learning Ashley had spoken to Bentley, he wasn't exaggerating. Not only did many of them get mad, but Mickey left the show. Although he thinks Ashley miscalculated how the men would react, Harrison also feels that they blew it out of proportion. Keep reading for more about this week's episode, including Ames' unexpected kiss and Mickey's "mistaken" exit, plus an update on Bradand Emily. Read More...

'Bachelorette's' Ashley Hebert Gets Closure With Bentley

The  Bachelorette   Ashley Hebert  say she's finally getting closure with her ill-fated relationship with Bentley, who left the show earlier this season claiming he was in love with  Emily Maynard. Reflecting on this week's episode, in which Bentley returned, Hebert blogs on, "With all of the negativity surrounding the Bentley debacle and the viewers' inability to understand how I was unable to see through what seemed to be a very obvious facade, I am here with an explanation and hopefully final "closure" to this never-ending saga." Bentley's Back, But Is Ashley Still Swooning for Him on 'The Bachelorette'? (VIDEO)

Ashley and the remaining boys are halfway around the world in Hong Kong on 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC), but apparently that still isn't far enough to get away from Bentley. Quite possibly the biggest d-bag to ever participate in a reality show must have decided he needed some more screen time if he was willing to fly to Hong Kong just to mess with Ashley some more. He slipped right into his slimy, flirty persona and she was melting right into it for awhile, but finally the truth started to come out and apparently Bentley let her off the hook. Only then did Ashley finally see him for what he is. Either that, or she's just hurt and angry and lashing out.

The Bachelorette's Ashley Can't Keep Bentley Off the Brain, So Another Dude Decides to Leave

After sending three fellas home last week,  Ashley Hebert  and the guy gang ditched Thailand and continued their journey of love in Hong Kong. Oh, but that had to be put on hold for a quick second, because  Bentley  was also in Hong Kong. Here's what happened… Well, Ashley got the closure she's been wanting. We could tell the Bachelorette was hoping Bentley was back to stay and say sorry, but that wasn't the case. Instead, he came back to replace the "dot, dot, dots" of their relationship to a "period."
