'Bachelorette' Emily Maynard: Ali Fedotowsky, Ashley Hebert to the rescue!

In the preview, Emily says, "Life after breaking up with Brad was really hard on me ... a heartbreak is a hard thing to get over. But my life has gone back to normal."OK, first of all - like any of us bought you and Brad. Talk about zero chemistry. Secondly, "normal" must have gotten pretty boring if you agreed to be the Bachelorette and move to Los Angeles. But little Ricki is still adorable as all get out.But Ali Fedotowsky and Ashley Hebert are there to rescue her. Though weirdly, Ali is dressed like a very chic professional cyclist and Ashley looks like she should be starring in Disney Princesses on Ice.Ali comments that she wishes she'd had this type of girls' day before she was the...

Emily Maynard Explains Why She Changed Her Mind on Being The Bachelorette

Emily Maynard is finally speaking out, for the first time since it was announced that she would be the Season 8 Bachelorette. She has a lot of ‘splainin’ to do since she tweeted point blank last summer that she didn’t want to be The Bachelorette.

She accepted Brad's proposal and was looking forward to walking down the aisle. Emily Maynard is the next 'Bachelorette'; Bentley wants to compete - report

Sure, nobody knew for sure (and nobody actually knows "officially" yet), but we all knew this was coming, didn't we?People is reporting that sources have confirmed to them that Emily is on tap for the next season. They also say the production is moving from Los Angeles to Charlotte, N.C., to accommodate Emily and her little girl Ricki, and that Bentley Williams (remember Bentley?) is interested in competing. We ... could not be less excited about this. Emily has a tragic story and we feel bad for her that that happened to her and Ricki. But we found her so blah on Brad's season. Emily Maynard Will Definitely Be the Next 'Bachelorette,' Says Reality Steve

I suppose that we should never be surprised anymore when a Bachelor contestant has a change of heart. But this one does come as a bit of a shock, given that, since she broke it off with twice- Bachelor Brad Womack after season 15, single mom Emily Maynard said over and over that she'd never want to star on The Bachelorette.  Now, according to spoiler king Reality Steve , that's exactly what she'll be doing come March, when The Bachelorette season 8 begins filming. Why Emily's change of heart? Steve speculates it probably has something to do with another early spoiler he got his hands on: In order to accommodate Emily's family life (a.k.a. lure her in), ABC has reportedly offered to move the bulk of filming to Emily's hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.
