As previously reported, Stan Lee will guest star on the March 1 episode of The Big Bang Theory . This is great news for Sheldon, except for one problem: the character ends up in jail on that episode, following a minor traffic infraction and Sheldon's "lack of delicacy with the English language," as Jim Parsons explains to Entertainment Weekly. "He gets pushed to his limits and gets cross with the judge," Parsons told the magazine. "The phrase 'catching more flies with sugar than with vinegar' makes no sense to him. The truth is really all that matters." Of course, Sheldon soon "realizes he doesn't [have] a private bathroom" in the cell, producer Chuck Lorre adds. Therefore, he's happy to apologize and get the heck out of there. Will he actually get to meet Lee? Lorre says yes, but:"It doesn't go well." No shock there. But likely many, many laughs. Source Here

The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men's continued ratings success led CBS to a Monday night win, according to Nielsen estimates. Bang Theory (15.4 million viewers) scored the night's highest rating among 18-to-49-year-olds, while Men (16.5 million) was the night's most-watched program. The strong lead-in helped boost CSI: Miami (13.3 million viewers), while How I Met Your Mother (9.4 million) and Accidentally on Purpose (8.5 million) were on par with their season averages. On ABC, The Bachelor averaged 11.7 million viewers overall and hit a season high in key demos. A Castle repeat drew 8 million viewers - the most for one of its reruns. But Fox edged out the ABC for second place with House (13.4 million viewers) and 24 (9.8 million). Even so, House was down 8 percent from a week ago, while 24 slipped to third place in the timeslot. Chuck (6.7 million viewers) was down just a bit, while Heroes (4.4 million) showed a small gain. The Jay Leno Show (3.9 million viewers) had its worst Monday rating ever. At the CW, Life Unexpected continued to hold its lead-in audience, as both it and One Tree Hill drew 2.1 million viewers. Source Here
If you had any doubt that geek culture has taken over, check out the numbers for The Big Bang Theory. The writing celebrates our obsession with The Green Lantern, reminds us that we are not the only ones who can say hello in Klingon and keeps us laughing at ourselves. Even the Emmys have taken notice. I just spoke with Emmy Award nominated actor Jim Parsons, who plays socially awkward -- but eminently loveable -- theoretical physicist Sheldon Cooper. Parsons tells us his theory on why the show is such a hit, when and if love will come to Sheldon and working with co-star Kaley Cuoco. "She's a wonderful verbal dancing partner," he says, though he tells us he is far better at bussing tables. He also gives us a sneak peek at this week's episode. Hint: It involves a ball pit at Chuck E. Cheese. To Read More Click Here .

The comedy lineup powered CBS to a win and a contestant scandal gave "The Bachelor" a slight boost over the premiere. Scifiwire.com is reporting that comic-book godfather Stan "The Man" Lee will have a guest role on an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory. Lee has now joined the list of sci-fi geekdom icons such as Will Wheaton (Star Trek: TNG), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and Summer Glaur (Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) who have made their way onto the hit CBS sitcom. At the TCA Winter Press Tour, Big Bang co-creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre said "We're doing an episode with Stan in about two weeks, so it'll be on in February." Lorre went on to say that Lee would be playing himself and that "He's going to be doing his autograph session at a comic-book store, and he's going to have a run-in with Sheldon (Jim Parsons)." But just when you think that Sheldon might actually play nice with the creator of Spider-Man, it turns out that he gets frustrated when Lee won't hurry things up. "It's not an issue so much about the comics themselves," continued Lorre. "[Shedlon]'s in a hurry to get to court, and he wants Stan to hurry up because he's got to appear in court."
