'Big Bang' kiss?! First Look!

Michael Ausiello has a sneak peek at a future hook-up for Sheldon that has Penny shocked! You too? Hate to say "I told you so," but...Wait. No. I love to say "I told you so." And I did! I totally hinted at a future hook-up between Big Bang Theory brainiacs Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard's mother, Beverly (The Good Wife's Christine Baranski), and see? On Monday's episode, "The Maternal Congruence", it's happening. At least that's the conclusion I'm drawing from the (possibly misleading) exclusive image above. Oh, don't pretend you're as shocked as Penny (Kaley Cuoco) looks. You saw the sparks flying last time, too. Timing for the return of the thinking man's cougar couldn't be better, either: Monday's eppy brought in BBT's best ratings ever. And, considering how well the show'd already been doing, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that's good. So what do you think? Wound up or grossed out by the prospect of Sheldon and Beverly getting horizontal outside of a discussion of geometry? And which will be more fun, the snogging itself, or the moment when Leonard (Johnny Galecki) finds out? Weigh in below!C Source

Ratings: Big Bang Theory Explodes to Series High - Featured

The Big Bang Theory was Monday's top-rated show, posting the biggest number of overall viewers in the series' history. Big Bang was watched by 14.7 million viewers, and dominated the competition in the adults-18-to-49 demographic. The show got a boost from a strong lead-in from Two and a Half Men (15.2 million viewers), the night's most-watched show. CBS' comedies benefited from holiday programming on other networks, as How I Met Your Mother (9.1 million viewers) and Accidentally on Purpose (8.3 million viewers) defeated ABC's Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town (8.4 million viewers) and Fox's Carrie Underwood Christmas special (8.1 million viewers over two hours). ABC's holiday programming and weak lead-in, Find My Family (5.4 million viewers), hurt Castle (8.4 million viewers), which came in well ahead of The Jay Leno Show (5.9 million viewers) but well behind CSI: Miami (12.9 million viewers). On the CW, One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl attracted 2.6 million viewers and 2.2 million viewers, respectively. On cable, Men of a Certain Age debuted to 5.4 million viewers, the best series premiere on basic cable of the year. The Closer kicked off its winter season with 6.2 million viewers. Also, Sunday's Dexter was watched by 2.1 million viewers, the show's largest audience ever and the highest single telecast for Showtime since 1999. Source

Big Bang's Wolowitz Scores a Battlestar Babe and a Girlfriend - Featured

Bubble bath + a bottle of champagne + Battlestar hottie = one nerd-tastic Big Bang Theory. Battlestar Galactica alum Katee Sackhoff drops by Monday's episode to dispense some words of wisdom to a newly dating Howard Wolowitz - and soap him up in the tub too. "It's an interesting way to meet someone, getting naked and stepping into a bathtub," Simon Helberg, who can also currently be seen in the film A Serious Man, tells us. "I usually wait until after a handshake, but we basically popped right in there and did it - did the scene, that is." See what advice Starbuck has for the skirt-chasing genius, what's in store for Wolowitz's love life, and get an update on the Dr. Horrible sequel! To Read More Click Here .

Tonight's TV Hot List: Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 - Featured

* The Big Bang Theory (9:31/8:31c CBS) Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica and National Public Radio's Ira Flatow have cameos in tonight's episode, in which Sheldon is humiliated on NPR and then promises vengeance on his nemesis Kripke. Sackhoff appears as - and, no, this isn't a joke - Wolowitz's new love interest. * Surviving the Holidays with Lewis Black (8/7c History) Apparently, Lewis Black was never visited by three ghosts in the night. (Even they would be afraid of him.) But the irascible comedian visits viewers and offers his unique take on the holidays, and it's open season on all traditions and customs. Among the topics are giving gifts; Kwanzaa; Hanukkah; Saint Nicholas; drinking on New Year's Eve; and Thanksgiving Day football. Black also visits a turkey farm and plays a department-store Santa. * Jon & Kate plus 8 (9/8c TLC ) When Jon & Kate Plus 8 premiered in 2007, it was an endearing look at life in a large family. Sadly, over the last year it morphed into a heartbreaking view of life in a broken family, yielded countless tabloid covers and demonstrated how fame can truly change people. (We're talking to you, Jon.) Tonight's installment of what was once TLC's highest-rated series, which some will argue should have ended months - or even years - ago, will be its last. Whether you're on Team Jon or Team Kate, we can all only hope for the best for the eight little ones caught in the middle. * Find My Family (9:30/8:30c ABC) Reunited and it feels so good. It's all in the family in this new relationship-reality series that reunites families with long-lost loved ones. In the inaugural episode tonight, hosts Tim Green and Lisa Joyner join forces with the series search team in a journey to Wisconsin, where they help parents Scott and Sandy Steinpas find their daughter, whom they gave up for adoption 29 years ago. Each episode features poignant family backstories and concludes with heart-tugging follow-up segments. * Robot Chicken : Star Wars Episode 2.5 (11:30/10:30c Cartoon Network ) Seth Green and Matthew Senreich have been busy lately. They recently wrapped up the fourth season of Robot Chicken, and have also been working on Titan Maximum, a new stop-motion comedy launched in September on Adult Swim. But the guys still had time to deliver a third installment of their popular Star Wars spoof. The one-hour special is a can't-miss for fans. Source Here
