The Borgias Season 3: Spoilers for June Episodes

Catherina Sforza has come too far in her quest to take down the Borgia family to turn back now; the extent of her hatred for Alexander and Cesare and the amount of resources and support she was able to amass among the Romagna families have dashed any thoughts of Catherina pulling back and retreating. However, coming up on The Borgias, she's laying the groundwork for a final battle that has implications for not only the Sforzas and the Borgias, but for the whole of Italy and the stability of Europe. Has she prepared enough to be able to take down the papal armies (and all those who fight alongside)? Or will the cause she's dedicated her life to in recent times go unfulfilled? READ MORE...

The Borgias 3.08 Sneak Peeks: Lucrezia Becomes a Prisoner of Naples

Lucrezia Borgia thought she was backing the right brother in Prince Frederigo, the man who showed her kindness and whose reign seemed like it would be most conducive to her interests. His gentler spirit and the attempt on his life helped persuade her to blackmail Raphael into backing down, but on the next episode of The Borgias, Lucrezia finds out just how wrong of a decision she made. 'The Borgias' turns Francois Arnaud into a 'vain monster'

The sentence "It's not easy being the pope's son" is one rarely used in modern times. And yet the case remains: It's a challenge.Take, for example, Cesare Borgia (Francois Arnaud) -- young, good-looking, charismatic, just looking for a little bit of love (from his sister), respect (from his weakened pop, the pope) and power (from an army that tends to be fairly fickle). It's enough to drive a man to kill his reckless brother. At least that's how things have shaped up on "The Borgias," airing Sundays on Showtime."I think it's great that you follow this well-intentioned boy -- who is seemingly innocent -- that turns into this vain monster without really realizing it," Arnaud tells Zap2it. "It's not a decision that he makes consciously."This season, after surviving a near-fatal assassination attempt, Pope Alexander VI (Academy Award winner Jeremy Irons), born Rodrigo Borgia, responds with an iron will by ruthlessly purging the Vatican of anyone who might... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/the-borgias-turns-francois-arnaud-into-a-vain-monster.html

'Borgias' canceled? Season 4 may morph into two hour finale special

Showtime's soapy historical drama "The Borgias" could be headed for a premature end after three seasons.Deadline is reporting that Showtime is currently leaning toward scrapping a planned Season 4 of the show in favor of a two hour wrap-up movie instead. While four full seasons would match the run of "Borgias" unofficial predecessor "The Tudors," Showtime recently transformed the fourth and final season of "The Big C" into a limited series of four one hour episodes.Series creator Neil Jordan indicated "Borgias" could be headed for a similar fate earlier this year in an interview with U.K.'s Broadcast."['Borgias' has] gone on for three years and there's only four years in it," Jordan said. "At the moment, we're discussing it with Showtime. I would like to finish it with a two-hour movie. Another 10 episodes is kind of exhausting. I've mapped out a movie, which, if they agree, will shoot in June with the same cast, and... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/borgias-canceled-season-4-two-hour-finale-special.html
