Jodie Foster comes out in Golden Globes speech: Watch video of the emotional thanks

On Sunday night at the Golden Globes ceremony, Jodie Foster finally came out of the closet. After accepting the extremely prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award, Foster publicly acknowledged her homosexuality for the first time by thanking her former partner. Her speech did ramble a bit, but the general point of it was that after giving 47 years to the industry, she is entitled to her privacy -- and not interested in living her life in front of the public, reality-show style. "I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago in the stone age. Back in the days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met. But now apparently every celebrity is expected to expose the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a reality show, she said.Though...

Golden Globes 2013: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's best lines of the night

They might not have won any awards, but Tina Fey and Amy Poehler came out the real winners of the 70th Golden Globe Awards. From their excellent opening monologue to Poehler canoodling with George Clooney, the two comedians made us wonder why the Hollywood Foreign Press Association insisted on sticking with Ricky Gervais for the past three years. In honor of what is hopefully the first in many, many years of hosting the Golden Globes, here are some of Poehler and Fey's best lines from the night: "Ricky Gervais could not be here tonight because he is no longer technically in show business." - Tina Fey "We have no intention of being edgy or offensive tonight because as Ricky Gervais fond out the hard way, when you run afoul of the Hollywood Foreign Press, they make you host this show two more times." - Amy Poehler "When it comes to torture, I trust the...

Golden Globes 2013: Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell go 'SNL' on hosting gig

Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell gave Tina Fey and Amy Poehler a run for their money when the former "Saturday Night Live" stars took to the stage to present the award for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy or Musical at the 70th Golden Globe Awards. In a skit that would have done "SNL" proud, the two comedians pretended the award by "covering" for the fact that they hadn't seen any of the movies nominated. Going solely off the titles of the movies, Ferrell and Wiig praised Emily Blunt on her fishing skills and the fact she shot in Yemen for "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen." Judy Dench was praised for being a newcomer -- "Where did she come from?" -- in "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", where she apparently used to be a police officer but then starred in her "first-ever movie." Then there's "Merry-el Streep" who was said to be a "sassy sheriff"...

Golden Globes 2013: Michael J. Fox's son Sam and Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca are Mr. and Miss Golden Globes

Nothing like the smell of nepotism in the evening! It's Golden Globe tradition that Mr. and Miss Golden Globe title is awarded to one son and one daughter of Hollywood Royalty. In 2013, the honor goes to Sam Fox, the son of Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan, and to Francesca Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher. Traditionally, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Globe carry the awards out on stage to give to the winners, and enjoy a bit of press leading up to the evening. Francesca went through the media ringer -- in addition to her Zap2it interview, she did a feature with Us Weekly and ABC News. Francesca is best known for her reality show, "Mrs. Eastwood & Company," with her stepmother and siblings. Also, she once lit a $100,000 purse on fire for fun. Sam, however, flew under the radar as the Globes approached. Michael J. Fox's eldest son is 23...
