Golden Globes: Robert Downey Jr.'s Charmingly Raunchy Best Actress in a Comedy Intro (VIDEO)

Robert Downey, Jr. really loved the nominees for Best Actress, Musical or Comedy at 'The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards' (Sun., 8PM on NBC). In fact, he was baffled that they'd each turned in such "exquisite performances without a shred of help" from him. Downey presented us with his theory for success in Hollywood for women. "I don't know if an actress can do her best work until I've slept with her," he posited. He then went on to address the five nominated women individually. Read More...

Ricky Gervais Blasts Everyone from Charlie Sheen to Steve Carell as Host of the Golden Globes (VIDEO)

Ricky Gervais was back this year as the host of 'The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards' (Sun. 8PM on NBC), and he was as biting and brutal as always. He takes to the Hollywood elite like Don Rickles does to his audiences. The night started off with perhaps the most obvious target. "He picked up a porn star, went to a hotel, got drunk, got naked, trashed the place while she was locked in the cupboard and that was a Monday. What did he do New Year's Eve?" Gervais asked of Charlie Sheen. His tirades would target the actresses of 'Sex and the City 2,' the film 'The Tourist' and even Hugh Hefner's upcoming nuptials. "Just don't look at it when you touch it," he advised bride-to-be 24-year old Crystal Harris. And all of that before the first award was given.

Golden Globes: Robert DeNiro Kills With Sharp, Funny Cecil B. DeMille Award Acceptance Speech (VIDEO)

Robert DeNiro may best be known for his impressive body of work in dramatic film, but his more recent forays into comedy aren't coming out of nowhere. As he proved in his acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at 'The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards' (Sun., 8PM on NBC), DeNiro has comedic chops to spare.  In a sharp, satirical speech, DeNiro made jabs at the Hollywood Foreign Press Assocation, Homeland Security, 3-D and even his own recent movie. "I was very, very moved and gratified when you made the announcement [of this award] two months ago," he said. "Well before you had a chance to review 'Little Fockers.'"

Golden Globes 2011: Ricky Gervais' monologue pulls no punches (thanks, Charlie Sheen)

Every 2011 awards show host should just pre-emptively thank Charlie Sheen now for providing endless material. It's particularly perfect because nobody even feels bad laughing at him, since he makes so much more money than everyone else in America.Combined.So it's no surprise that host Ricky Gervais kicked off Sunday's Golden Globes ceremony by taking a few easy potshots at the "Two and a Half Men" star - particularly pointing out that before his latest booze-fueled alleged porn star capture, he introduced the woman to his ex-wife, Denise Richards."As you do," says Gervais. The monologue was as no-holds-barred as can be expected of a man who takes the stage with a beer in hand. He mentioned the plethora of 3-D movies that hit theaters recently. "Everything this year was three-dimensional, except the characters in the Tourist," comes the zinger. "I feel bad about that joke. I'm jumping on the bandwagon, because I haven't even seen that movie....

One fifth of "The Big Bang Theory" gang snatched Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical at 68th Annual Golden Globes.
