Top Moments: Good Wife's Great Timing, Bones' Baby Boom and Castle's Confession

Our top moments of the week: 16. Scratching Our Heads Award:   We know we wouldn't be perfect on live television ourselves, but we're pretty sure we wouldn't flub something as simple as a coin toss. During   Dancing with the Stars ' Winner Takes All Cha-Cha,   Brooke Burke tells top scorer   Hines Ward   to call the toss to decide the performance order. "Tails," he says. It's heads (or more specifically, Len's head), which means   Chelsea Kane   gets dibs, right? Not in Brooke's world! She tells Hines to choose, which he — completely mystified — does, before an awkward silence befalls the celeb-quarium and Brooke realizes her blunder. All we can say is: She would   never   host   Million Dollar Heads or Tails . 15. Best Win for the Bad Guys:  After his three first tries — including his time on the villains team for "Heroes vs. Villains" —   "Boston Rob" Mariano   will never be considered a good guy on   Survivor . But after an entire season of manipulating and controlling his teammates, Rob was definitely the right guy to win on   Redemption Island   and he takes the $1 million prize after 10 years and four different games. Who wants to start placing bets on when he'll be back for win No. 2? 14. Welcome Back Award:   What table flip? It only took two years, but   The Real Housewives of New Jersey   easily tops the infamous Season 1 dinner fight with a huge family brawl between Teresa 's husband and her brother — at a baptism party nonetheless. We would say we missed these Jersey girls, but it turns out we had   no idea   what we were missing. Read More... http://www.tvguide.com/News/TopMoments-Good-Wife-Bones-1033347.aspx?rss=breakingnews

'The Good Wife' vs. 'Housewives' and 5 other fall timeslot battles

Another upfront season has ended, and now the real work begins: strategizing how to program the DVR once the season starts. Now that the broadcast networks have set their schedules, we can start to look at some potentially intriguing watch-record dilemmas come fall. We haven't seen full versions of any of the new shows yet, of course, but we're seeing several possible ratings dogfights among both new and returning series. Here are a few of them.Mondays at 8: Family feudThere's no reason to think "Dancing With the Stars" will lose its iron grip on the time period, but the race for second could be pretty interesting as a couple other shows vie with "Dancing" for family audiences. FOX will undoubtedly put a huge marketing push behind "Terra Nova," and NBC is hoping a weekly version of "The Sing-Off" will do as well as its limited run did last December. Like "DWTS," they're both aiming for broad... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/05/the-good-wife-vs-housewives-and-5-other-fall-timeslot-battles.html

'The Good Wife,' 'CSI' get new nights: The thinking behind CBS' moves

In talking up "The Good Wife's" move to Sunday nights next season, CBS executives used some form of the word "prestige" four times within the space of a couple minutes."We're saying our most prestigious show is on our most prestigious night," is how CBS Primetime senior exec VP Kelly Kahl described the move, noting that "The Good Wife" will be preceded by the venerable "60 Minutes" and multiple Emmy winner "The Amazing Race." "'The Good Wife' has a big core following -- and I don't mean 6 million people who watch and are very dedicated; there are about 12 million people watching. We know they'll follow the show to Sunday night. ..."This is a quality night. It's where people put their quality shows, and at the top of our quality list is 'The Good Wife.'"The show's move is one of three noteworthy schedule changes CBS made with veteran series for 2011-12 (the full schedule is... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/05/the-good-wife-csi-get-new-nights-the-thinking-behind-cbs-moves.html

The Aftermath The Good Wife Creators Reflect on Finale, Look Ahead to Next Season

The Good Wife season finale, “Closing Arguments,” certainly finished out the spring campaign on a buzz-worthy note, as Alicia and Will finally got together. 'Good Wife's' Josh Charles: 'There's a deep love there' for Alicia

The "Good Wife" Season 2 finale saw Will and Alicia finally acknowledge their bad timing and appear to indulge in having some good timing for once. The writers certainly left themselves room to have them not consummate their relationship. Star Josh Charles tells Zap2it that Will and Alicia aren't exactly heading straight for domestic bliss."Whether they're in for the long haul or not remains to be seen," says Charles. But while it may not be an instant match made in heaven, Charles does acknowledge that Alicia is one of the best things in Will's life."It may be one of the truest things that he has. I think there's a deep love there on his part," says Charles. "It's conflicted because of all the dynamics, certainly. Boss-employer, she's married with kids, the past, all these different things.
