Growing up isn’t easy on anyone in the “Errand Boy” episode of THE MIDDLE where Brick gets his first taste of staying home alone, Sue is unknowingly Mean Girled, and Axl tries to grow a beard. “I gotta tell you–I don’t think I would last ten seconds as a girl.” Maybe not, but Mike shows he’s a terrifically endearing dad to one. His smile after Sue flatters him into driving her to the movies is downright adorable and I love his flipping up of the paper in the movie theater. Junior high girl drama really is brutal (I still have flashbacks, and oh, the horror. The horror!) and this episode gives a good little taste, especially in that Carly stands by saying nothing, best friend or no best friend. While Frankie’s right that there’s nothing you can do about it, I love that Mike tries. His Shannon smack down is hilariously awkward while his altercation with Shannon’s dad is full of win. “It’s our job to teach our kids to be decent. “Yeah, Shannon’s not going to go for that.” Heh. Even though Sue, once again, has all kinds of teen pain coming, it’s nice to see her so bubbly and wow, she even takes off the sweatshirt. To Read More Click Here.

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 CBS reclaimed Wednesday's top spot in the ratings as all three of its shows improved on last week's numbers. "Modern Family" and "Cougar Town" were down a bit for ABC, but the network's 8 o'clock shows continued to build, with "The Middle" hitting a series high in viewers for the second week in a row. CBS averaged 12.2 million viewers and a 7.2 rating/12 share among households in primetime, leading ABC (8.25 million, 5.1/8) by close to 4 million viewers. NBC (7.2 million, 4.8/8) came in third. A night of reruns on FOX delivered only 3.2 million viewers and a 2.0/3, but that was good enough to keep it ahead of The CW, which brought in 2.5 million people and a 1.6/3. The adults 18-49 battle was closer, but CBS still finished in the lead with a 3.3 rating. ABC came in second at 2.8 and was the only other network to score above a 2.0 in the demographic. NBC's 1.8 took third, followed by FOX, 1.3, and The CW, 1.1. To Read More Click Here.
