WHY?

I can't believe they made Marissa die.
Its horrible, I loved her in the show.
When she died "THE OC" was NOT so interesting anymore.

    The Cohen family says goodbye in the series finale as the episode jumps six months after the earthquake to show the Cohens, Ryan, Taylor, Summer and the Cooper women trying to piece their lives back together. The O.C. was cancelled for a few reasons:

1.Josh Schwartz, the producer & creator of the show believed it was a good time for the show to end.

2. The show's ratings went down more & more by the season and had "only" 4 million viewers by its last sea...

More Information

The show focuses on the life of Ryan Atwood, a troubled teenager from a broken home who is adopted by the wealthy and philanthropic Sandy and Kirsten Cohen. Ryan and his surrogate brother Seth deal with life as outsiders in the wild high-class world of Orange County, California and their often troubled and always dramatic relationships, most notably with Marissa Cooper, Summer Roberts and Taylor Townsend.
