* XXI Olympic Winter Games (8/7c NBC) The most anticipated event of the Games is this evening, with Kim Yu-Na of South Korea the favorite in the women's figure-skating final. She is coached by two-time silver medalist Brian Orser. The U.S. champ is Rachael Flatt, who has a skating great in her corner as well in 1976 gold-medal winner Dorothy Hamill. She "has been working on the finesse of my skating," says Flatt. Contenders also include Japan's Mao Asada; Canada's Joannie Rochette, who gave an emotional performance in Tuesday's short program just two days after the death of her mother; and American Mirai Nagasu. U.S. jumpers may not be favored in freestyle skiing's aerials final, but they do have two capable contenders in Jeret "Speedy" Peterson and Ryan St. Onge, who has not fared well since winning the 2009 World Championships. Also in prime time is Nordic combined's individual large-hill final, with Bill Demong (U.S.) the reigning world champ. On MSNBC, the U.S. faces Canada in the gold-medal game in women's hockey. * The Deep End (8/7c ABC) Since this legal series failed to find much of an audience, The Deep End will likely get the deep six after this sixth and final episode of the first season. Tonight Cliff tries to weasel his way back into Susan's life; Dylan and Beth team up on a case involving a text message; and Addy and Malcolm take on an insurance company that's not above twisting the truth. * Burn Notice (10/9c USA Network ) Over the last few weeks, Michael has had his hands full with the gleefully fiendish Gilroy. But in this last episode before the season finale, it's Fiona who gets herself into hot water when she takes a case that finds her tangling with an unstable and paranoid kidnapper. On top of those character flaws, the kidnapper also turns out to be quite devious and isn't exactly who he says he is. * Soundstage (10/9c PBS) The legendary Willie Nelson showcases selections from his forthcoming album Country Music, including Al Dexter's "Pistol Packin' Mamma," the Joe "Red" Hayes-Jack Rhodes tune "Satisfied Mind" and Bill Mack's "Drinking Champagne." He also reaches into his vast repertoire for a few additional classics, including "Whiskey River" and Bob Wills' "Trouble in Mind." * The Real Housewives of Orange County (0/9c Bravo ) It hadn't been a San Francisco treat for Vicki during the wives' getaway to the City by the Bay. Drama crept in like that city's invading fog when the other ladies verbally assailed her. Still hurting in the wake of that attack, Vicki turns to an old friend for comfort - erstwhile cast mate Jeana Keough. Meanwhile, in a plastic-fantastic development, Alexis and her mother visit a nip-tuck doctor. As for Lynne, she reassesses her marriage, and Gretchen looks forward to the launch of her makeup line. Tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County picks up where last week's episode left off. The girls are now in San Francisco trying to relax and keep their mind off certain matters like getting evicted or dealing with a daughter's health problem or even just to prove that one can travel alone without a spouse. Drama unfolds as the housewives are finishing their lunch in San Francisco. What started out as a fight between Alexis and Vicki ends up with everyone taking the opportunity to tell Vicki just what they think of her. While Vicki is distraught because everyone is ganging up on her, she and Tamra try to figure out where their friendship stands. "Let's Bow Our Heads and Pray," the 13th episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County's fifth season, also features Alexis and her husband Jim as they invite their pastor and his wife to breakfast where they talk about the role of modern day Christians and how Alexis feels judged for her beauty and looks. Meanwhile, Simon takes Tamra out for a romantic dinner as part of her 42nd birthday celebration. Back in Orange County, Lynne's daughter, Raquel, tells her friends about the family's eviction. On the other hand, Gretchen and her boyfriend, Slade Smiley, head to Palm Springs for a weekend getaway with her parents. Source & Preview
I was able to find the song Gretchen Rossi has released, for some reason, under the radar of the show. You can buy it via the link below on Amazon for $0.99 or listen to a brief preview there. It's a slow song called Nothing Without You," supposedly about her relationship with Jeff. I have read that all proceeds go to the Leukemia Foundation. Nothing Without You I think the song is bad, but I have only heard the preview. What do you all think?
Tonight on The Real Housewives of Orange County, the housewives head to San Francisco for some ladies-only leisure time. But wait, haven't we seen something like this before? If I remember correctly, it was in episode 6 that we saw what was supposed to be an all-girl trip to Florida turn into a couple's retreat. And we all know that that turned out. Who knows, maybe things will be different this time in San Francisco. These girls are heading to a different location after all. Drama begins at dinner where everyone is annoyed by Alexis' non-stop phone calls and texting with Jim at the table. The next day, the girls go out for a round of shopping followed by a water front lunch where Vicki takes a business call the lunch table--- which pisses Alexis off. Alexis then confronts Vicki about her comments about her over the previous night's calls to Jim, and we have ourselves another catfight to enjoy. Meanwhile, Lynne's daughters, Raquel and Alexa, are home alone when a stranger knocks on the door and hands Raquel an eviction notice. As reported previously, Lynne and her husband Frank have faced three lawsuits in the past 10 months alone--- the latest of which gotten them evicted from the house they currently live in. Can Lynne handle the truth when Frank confesses the family's dire financial problems? Source & Preview
After coming from a bitter and much publicized break up less than a month ago, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney admits that she's dating again. As if the reality TV starlet's quick jump into the dating pool didn't already raise a few eyebrows, she reveals that she's going out with a friend of her estranged husband Simon! "I started dating Eddie Judge last week. We started hanging out together more after my separation and one thing led to another. We had been friends for over a year," Tamra told RadarOnline. "We are romantically involved, he is a great guy. It was bound to happen that we both we would dating again after he filed for divorce, it was going to happen sooner or later." Now everything makes more sense. Simon, who filed for divorce to dissolve his 11-year-marriage to the Real Housewives star early in January, has accused Tamra of "committing acts of disloyalty and infidelity." Tamra, on the other hand, has denied Simon's claims. The odd thing, though, is that both Simon and Tamra were referring to issues regarding Tamra's ex-boyfriend. Still, going out with your ex's friend shortly after breaking up is not something to be happy about. Simon even calls it "the ultimate act of betrayal" when he learned about the relationship by arriving at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night and seeing Simon and Tamra there together while he was under the impression she was back in Los Angeles. "I walked in and I saw Tamra with a friend of mine, Eddie Judge. I saw them holding hands and acting like a couple," Simon told RadarOnline. "As soon as Tamra saw me she let go of his hand and walked away. I went up to Eddie and asked him if he's [bleeping] my wife. He didn't say a word. I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed." After Lynne's big melt down on last week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, she calls Alexis to apologize for her recent behavior at Alexis' cooking party and then throws a housewarming gathering in tonight's episode called "Nothing Is as It Seems." Just like most gatherings on The Real Housewives of Orange County, the Curtins' housewarming event is not without drama. It starts off on a good note but tension erupts as a heated argument breaks out between Vicki and Simon. Source & Preview
It's time to pump up the drama volume on The Real Housewives of Orange County and what better way to stir controversy than to gather the ladies around for a gourmet chef cooking party. Alexis is the host of tonight's event but it seems like Lynne is the one taking center stage as she unleashes fury with her sharp tongue. Not much has been revealed about the 10th episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County's fifth season except that the girls' get together kicks off smoothly. Lynne provides the entertainment during the cooking session because clearly, she doesn't have a clue as to what she's doing. As the housewives sit down for dinner, the drama unfolds when talks about Lynne's daughter Alexa begin to surface. And it's clear that Lynne is still pissed off about Gretchen meddling into her family life and criticizing her parenting skills. Gretchen, on the other hand, doesn't see it that way. Source & Preview
The Real Housewives of Orange County is kicking it old school as Gretchen throws a Tupperware party and apparently, that's what real housewives do for fun. Check out the preview for tonight's episode entitled "No Boundaries" after the jump. Previously on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki threw a slumber party and hired a clairvoyant who called Tamra pretty and smart, and then told some awkward truths to the other girls, though there was nothing we didn't already know. He said he didn't like Slade for Gretchen, Alexa is too much of a perfectionist, Lynne needs to start putting bigger words together while Vicki needs to be nicer to Donn. Moreover, Ryan finally apologized to Simon after landing a new job though he still admitted he did it only so his mom would get off his case. As for Alexis, she realized that she had a lot in common with Tamra as they both have the same values and a rock solid marriage. (But we all know how one of those turned out!) The Alexis-Tamra bond continues to blossom as the girls meet for a game of tennis in tonight's episode. They talk about upcoming Gretchen's Tupperware party and Alexis is shocked to learn that the two are still at odds. Later, Gretchen and her boyfriend, Slade Smiley go to the Del Mar races with Alexis and her husband, Jim, where the discussion turns to the ongoing argument between the ladies which Alexis is determined to mediate. But the real drama starts at Gretchen's Tupperware party where she brings in a drag queen to host the event. Apparently, Gretchen's favorite thing in the world is to catch people off guard so they can be like "Huh?" and I think her mission is accomplished. More trouble seemingly brews as Alexis confronts one of Gretchen's friends for hitting on her husband Jim. Source Here
Though Bravo has yet to confirm the news, word on the street is that the network is adding yet another edition to the growing Real Housewives franchise. So far, they've added Orange County, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. But now, they're planning to add The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the list as well. According to The Daily Truffle, "Production officially begins in March and the cast has a 10-month commitment. Bravo is continuing with callbacks now for the remaining spots on the show." Additionally, it has also been rumored that at least one of Kathy Hilton's beautiful sisters might be on board. "Bravo wanted to build the cast around some Hiltons, yes Kyle is one of them, I think Kim too ... but it ain't over till the fat lady sings, " an anonymous source close to the project told The Daily Truffle. In case you didn't know, Kim and Kyle Richards are sisters of Kathy Hilton--- the mother of Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton. Kyle, an L.A. native, has been on niece Paris' two reality series, The Simple Life and My New BFF. She is married to Mauricio Umansky, a realtor in Beverly Hills and Beverly Park, at Hilton and Hyland, the same place Paris' dad Rick Hilton works. On the other hand, Kim is an actress who is credited for Escape to Witch Mountain, Different Strokes, Little House on the Prairie, Black Snake Moan and Meatballs Part II. Lisa Todd, owner of Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills, and a close friend of Kyle, is in talks as well, according to the source. Source Here
It seems that the Tamra-Simon separation is getting a messier with all the "he-said, she said" arguments going on each week. After Simon filed for divorce and blamed The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra for the end of their 11-year marriage earlier this month, Tamra broke her silence in attempt to defend herself from his allegations. During Bravo's Watch What Happens: Live last Thursday, Tamra reiterated her previous denial that she cheated on her estranged husband Simon. "No, I did not cheat on my husband whatsoever," Barney told host Andy Cohen. Tamra, who learned about Simon's divorce filing by reading about it online before being served, felt the need to defend herself since he was accusing her of "committing acts of disloyalty and infidelity" and for being "verbally abusive." Unfortunately, her stint on Cohen's show didn't exactly repair her already tainted reputation. To Read More Click Here .
