I think it could be Amy & Ben or Amy & Ricky. Hopefully the second one! Who do you think is getting married?

Family tension

Those who have watched episode 3 of this awesome series may have noticed a little bit of tension between Amy's parents. We aren't told what this is about, but just that they have been arguing quite a bit. Interesting, I think this is because they are splitting up. I was looking at the ABC Family website and it had a few banners with the cast members secrets, and one of them said 'Amy's parents secret... There splitting up', so I guess they are... Not sure why the writers have added this twist in, or how it will effect the show. I'm not even sure if I like the idea and whether it will just be to much or whether it's a good plot twist. Post your thoughts! Thanks.

GOOD LESSON SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE!!! !!! !!!

This show is a great lesson I myslef am a teen mother I got pregnant at 16 and gave birth at 17 I was a senior in high school when I had my son. I for one think people that try to get pregnant are stupid I tell my own friends that because I made a mistake. This show could help teach girls things about safe sex but they also need to know that birth control doesn't always work. I was on birth control after I had my son but yet here I am 18 just out of high school with a son and pregnant again with TWINS!!! So any girls out there wanting to have kids please re-think this it's not a great idea for one I think that you don't understand all the things that can go wrong. I mean being that young and having chances for miscarriages and what if the baby dies in your last few months. It scars you for life I know one of my twins already died. Also imagine having to make decisions about what to do if your child has a chance for downe syndrome while you are this young I wanted my son very much we both did because we both got used to it and were good with kids THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE WERE READY THOUGH and even we had to think about getting rid of it and I am PRO LIFE. I think it is a horrible thing to blame shows and movies because this is a decision for your child to make it doesnt matter what is on TV or anything. GIRLS PLEASE RE THINK IT IS NOT I REPEAT NOT EASY NOT FUN I LOVE KIDS AND I'M TELLING YOU IT'S NOT EASY AND NOT FUN!!!

Premieres Tonight!

Hey everyone!! The day I have been waiting for has come. Tonight is the official premiere of The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family, 8pm.) I am incredibly excited, and I think you all will love it! Just wanted to send everyone a reminder, and I hope you enjoy it!

High School Teen Pregnancy Pact!?

Have you all seen the article about the "pregnancy pact" that took place among a group of 17 young girls at a high school in Massachusetts? Pregnancy Boom at Gloucester High The article had one line that struck me: "Others blamed hit movies like Juno and Knocked Up for glamorizing young unwed mothers." Don't get me wrong, I loved both of those movies. And I also don't believe we should blame a movie or show for poor decisions, but I do think this shows that teens need a realistic look at the consequences and struggles that a teenage pregnancy can bring. I believe this is exactly what a show like "Secret Life of the American Teenager" is aiming to do, and hopefully it might help open up some discussion among parents and teens about this subject.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager

Has anyone seen the previews for this during Greek? It looks awesome!! It centers around the life of pregnant high schooler and the impact her pregnancy has on her life, her friends, her family...and the boy who has a crush on her. It'll be a great addition to ABC Family (especially with Greek's season ending) and it will be premiering on July 1st at 8pm. It's kind of nice to see a show covering a real hot button topic for once. I'm interested to see how it all plays out!!
