I won't give opinions about what this show teaches young adult. Firstly because I used to really like that show and secondly because you don't care about it. Instead I'll say that the show started pretty good. But then it got repetitive (are all the girls in that school are gonna get pregnant?). Also, the characters never go underneath the surface, they do try to scrach it but their not able to go past the cliché. Ricky might be they... More

So I don't recommend this show.

After the first season (amazing) I felt like I had to watch the rest to know what happens. I didn't like any of the following seasons and hated Amy. However, I love this actress (Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars).

I am 26 and I watched it. I feel slightly ashamed, but after I started, I could not stop. I just wanted to know how much more complicated things could go.

Like a train wreck you can't stop watching. This show is so high school drama and horrible acting but I was addicted.

It started out so strong. For the first couple of seasons, I couldn't wait to watch the next episode. After season 3, it started to go downhill. Every once in a while, they'd have a really good episode. The very last season, however, was unbearable. It was not fun or easy to watch the entire show fall apart before my eyes. The first couple seasons are definitely worth watching, but don't even waste your time with the last season. It was... More

A very unrealistic teenage life which makes it more fun to watch!

I really liked the first season but then after that it just got a little boring. I had to force myself through the rest of the seasons. It was a great idea that needed some follow through.
