'The Walking Dead': Getting to know Daryl Dixon

Norman Reedus promised us we'd learn more about Daryl Dixon, the character he plays on AMC's "The Walking Dead," during the show's second season. Based on this sneak peek clip, he's ready to dish about his childhood. We're thinking the whole using "Poison Oak as toilet paper" thing was a little TMI, but we do learn that Daryl himself, like Sophia, once got lost in the Georgia woods as a child.In the clip, he tells Andrea (Laurie Holden) about his 9-day ordeal and how he survived despite the lack of a search party or even any concern from his drunk father or uber-redneck older brother, Merle.We're not quite sure why Daryl and Andrea would be wandering through the woods at night, casually trading stories since there are, you know, zombies in these here parts. But, the joke's on them, because at the end of the clip they do come face-to-face with a walker. Sort of.Season...

'The Walking Dead' sneak peek: T-Dog wants out

"I'm the one black guy? Realize how precarious that makes my situation?" -- T-DogIn next Sunday's (Oct. 23) episode of "The Walking Dead," the hunt for Sophia continues -- but meanwhile back at the ranch, errr, RV, T-Dog (IronE Singleton) is starting to doubt his fellow survivors. In the clip above, he tries to convince Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) to take off with him and leave the rest of the crew behind. It's another indication of just how much the interplay between the characters is changing this season. The survivors have gotten past the "we're just trying to survive" phase and are starting to think about what their own competing interests. The exchange also really underscores how little these people know about each other.
