Don't watch the youku link
the link for this movie that uses the youku player, seems to have been cut up quite a lot and is shorter then the full movie, it is 142 mins but the movie is 158 mins so quite a lot is missing.

Review of There Will Be Blood DVD Release
Sometimes great films just don't translate into great DVDs. Either the section for extras is relatively bare and underwhelming, or there are no extras at all. You might think that There Will Be Blood, Paul Thomas Anderson's latest gem, would follo...

This movie could have been a lot better
Way too long and tons of holes in this move. Several characters were introduced who were poorly developed. In part because of the length of the movie, they took up valuable screen time, yet their interactions were incidental to the plot. THERE ...

More Information
There Will Be Blood is a film adaptation of Upton Sinclair's novel Oil!. It stars Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano, and is screenwritten, produced and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Shooting began in mid-May 2006 in New Mexico and Marfa, Texas, with principal photography wrapping August 24, 2006. The film is scheduled for a limited release on December 26, 2007. Music for the film was composed by Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood. A sprawling epic of family, faith, power and oil, THERE WILL BE BLOOD is set on the incendiary frontier of California's turn-of-the-century petroleum boom. The story chronicles the life and times of one Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis), who transforms himself from a down-and-out silver miner raising a son on his own into a self-made oil tycoon. When Plainview gets a mysterious tip-off that there's a little town out West where an ocean of oil is oozing out of the ground, he heads with his son, H.W. (Dillon Freasier), to take their chances in dust-worn Little Boston. In this hardscrabble town, where the main excitement centers around the holy roller church of charismatic preacher Eli Sunday (Paul Dano), Plainview and H.W. make their lucky strike. But even as the well raises all of their fortunes, nothing will remain the same as conflicts escalate and every human value ( love, hope, community, belief, ambition and even the bond between father and son) is imperiled by corruption, deception and the flow of oil.
