Thomas “Tom” Tucker is a character in the animated television series, Family Guy. He is an arrogant, baritone newscaster at Channel 5. His family includes Stacy, his second wife, and a son named Jake from his first marriage; Jake is very spoiled due to the fact that his face is upside-down and everyone is afraid of him. Tom was briefly Thelma Griffin’s boyfriend who acted like a step-father to Peter in “Mother Tucker.”

Tom tends to insult everybody around him, particularly Diane Simmons, his co-anchor. He dislikes her and frequently trades insults with her on-air.

Meg briefly had a crush on him in “The Kiss Seen Around the World.”

• He has had several extramarital affairs with prostitutes, as referenced to in the episodes “Petarded” and “Screwed the Pooch.”
• In “The Kiss Seen Around the World,” Neil Goldman was angry at Tom Tucker for “stealing his woman” (Meg), and brought him a cup of coffee with Sweet ’n’ Low; Tom spat it out and demanded a cup with urine, like he asked.
• In “Stewie B. Goode,” it is revealed that Tom wears a faux moustache and it is station property, so he turns it in after being fired, although he gets it back after regaining his job.

Tom has a son named Jake Tucker. Jake has an upside down face and sees upside down (In Boys Do Cry Jake auditions for the church organist. He begins by playing random notes in absolute discord. Tom flips the sheet over, and Jake begins to play the William Tell Overture.) Jake has been arrested for drug possession and spends 200 hours in community service. Tom strives for Jake to be normal and in the episode It Takes a Village Idiot, and I Married One, Jake's face is flipped right-side-up due to exposure to toxic waste.

In the original pilot episode of Family Guy, Tom Tucker was named Mike Tucker. This was later changed for the aired version.
