Is True Blood the New Dexter?

Most of the scenes which include any of the Morgan siblings are interesting, but overall I don't feel the need to watch Dexter anymore, and do it only because it's Dexter. Is it because we have become used to the idea of a show with its lead, a serial killer? Was that the only reason we tuned in the first place? I would just love to blame the writing and move on, but, has Dexter fizzled out because we left it open too long? I don't know. The knot in the stomach, the full story here

Tara (contains spoilers if you haven't seen episode 10)

Well, considering that the whole exorcism thing was fake, why is it that Tara saw the blood on the uh.. stake? Or whatever it was. Were the meds messing with her mind so much that she could see "physical" evidence?

True Blood Predictions: How will the Season End?

True Blood continues to suck me in every episode as the situations just keep getting more intense and intriguing! In one of the latest episodes, "I Don't Wanna Know," Sookie discovered Sam's secret of shape shifting, Tara discovered the exorcisms were fake, Bill discovered he couldn't escape the ways of the vampires no matter how much he fought it, Sam discovered his lies weren't cutting it, and Eric and Amy discovered they had bigger problems than a few little lies. In the latest episode, "To Love is to Bury," the killer was actually uncovered to us viewers as Rene, Amy was killed leaving Jason convinced he was really the killer, Sookie and Bill were torn apart by Bill's return and jealousy of discovering Sookie and Sam kissing, and Tara got arrested then went home from jail with a very suspicious "social worker." So what are your predictions for the big season finale? Will these revelations and issues lead to Rene getting caught? Will Sookie and Bill have a chance together or will Sookie and Sam? And oh so much more! Share your thoughts and please avoid spoilers for those of us who have not read the books - thanks! Photo courtesy of

Episode 10

I can't find a working link. Any suggestions all of them seem to be broken. HELP please I can't wait any longer lol. Thanks in advance for any help.

Any other vampy shows?

So I really love Angel, TrueBlood, and now Moonlight, but was wondering if anyone knows any other good vamp based shows and/or movies. I've seen Dracula 2000, Interview with a Vampire, Queen of the Damned, and a few others, and I am waiting for Twilight, but still I find my thirst unquenchable. I am not squeamish about more sexual undertone in the shows or movies. Because what's more sexy the a pale, white, sexy guy that wants nibble on your neck?

wat the hell i expected chow to look good the books it says he has tatoos and he's a hunk .. but in the show he's some next fat guy .. who looks like he's 50 something ... when he should of been a young asian good lookin vampire

Please think about other people. What if they haven't seen the show yet. All it takes is to type "SPOILER WARNING" or just SPOILER in the heading of your discussion thread. Revealing important plot points is a thoughtless and rude thing to do. I realize no one is doing it on purpose, but please have some consideration... Thanks...

*SPOILERS*Wait a min...*SPOILERS* one of the early episodes didn't we see Sam WITH that dog on his porch? Or am I remembering things totally wrong? Yes I guessed a long time ago he was a shifter or were-creature, but this is odd.

Discuss: Favorite New Show of the Season

As I watched last night's new episode of True Blood (check out the Kendra's review of the episode here )!, it occurred to me that this is one of the few new shows of the new season that I really, truly, like. In fact, I'd say it's my favorite new show of the season! It's quite original - I feel like there's nothing else on TV quite like it (whereas even if you are a fan of Fringe ...there's also Eleventh Hour ). The world that Alan Ball is portraying here is so twisted and fascinating (and at times grotesque)...that I really can't stop watching! It's the only new show that has fully drawn me in. question to you all is...which new show has done it for you? Which new show do you most look forward to the next new episode? You can check out our New TV Shows Page to see the complete list, but some options include: True Blood The Mentalist Fringe 90210 Privileged Sons of Anarchy Kath and Kim My Own Worst Enemy Crusoe Life on Mars Eleventh Hour Gary Unmarried Discuss!
