We've got a pretty long wait before we head back to Bon Temps, but some of the stars hit the red carpet for the HBO Golden Globes after party and talked about some of the upcoming supernatural hijinks we're going to see. Ryan Kwanten talks about his character's run in with crazy were-panthers and his creepy girlfriend. He tells MTV, "Jason is hanging onto every shred of humanity as it is, and he was lucky to survive last season. He was on the brink of death several times. 'True Blood': Christopher Meloni officially cast

"True Blood" fans are freaking out! Former "Law and Order: SVU" star Christopher Meloni has just been cast as a series regular for Season 5, according to TV Line. We love this man with the fire of a thousand suns. (Yes, we realize that's not something a vampire wants to hear.)According to executive producer Alan Ball, Meloni will play "An ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands." If anyone is going to boss those two around, it's the guy who played Chris Kellar on "Oz."We absolutely cannot wait to see Meloni in this role. (We also think he's hot enough to join this cast.) If we can't have Detective Stabler anymore, this is the next best thing. And it's HBO, so... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/12/true-blood-christopher-meloni-officially-cast.html
