True Blood Spoilers! August Episodes Revealed

HBO Has released some extremely interesting episode breakdowns for August's True Blood episodes.  These are so telling they need to be inspected one at a time. First:

True Blood Speculation - Does Russell Have a Plan?

As much as I loved the tripping vampires on parade sequence from yesterday's True Blood , I'm still left wondering if Russell is harboring a secret plan. I sure hope so. The little glimpse of spiritually intoxicated glee was fun to watch, but it all somehow made Russell seem less, uh, Russell to me.  Then again, Denis O'Hare played Russell's overtures to Lilith with a sort of invisible wink—or maybe that was just my wishful thinking. Definitely Lilith's appearance in True Blood would no doubt be a huge game changer.  As we've seen, belief in the will of Lilith has fueled two very different visions of Vampires amongst mankind.  One just happens to be more in tune with what Russell believed prior to being buried in concrete. True Blood's Deborah Ann Woll: Roman's Death, Lilith's Arrival Will Change Everything

Ding dong! The Guardian is dead! True Blood bid farewell to Christopher Meloni on Sunday after Russell Edgington ( Denis O'Hare ) turned the tables on Vampire Authority Guardian Roman, staking him in the heart and seemingly driving a nail in the coffin of the mainstreaming movement, which has seen centuries-old vampires assimilate into the human world on the HBO series. How will Roman's death affect the war between the mainstreamers led by the supposedly devoted Authority and the ruthless Sanguinistas, who wouldn't hesitate to rip out your spine on live television and drink your blood for sport (Hello, Russell!)? To get the scoop, turned to Deborah Ann Woll , who plays teenage vamp Jessica, who says Roman's death and the arrival of original vampire Lilith will impact the rest of the season. Plus: How will Jason ( Ryan Kwanten ) feel towards Jessica now that he knows vampires were the cause of his parents' death?

True Blood Season 5 Spoiler: Alcide “Sexually Eviscerates” Someone

Last weekend’s True Blood panel at Comic-Con brought a boatload of spoilers for the rest of Season 5, and if there’s one theme we noticed, it’s sex, sex, and more sex! First up, delicious Joe Manganiello revealed that he “sexually eviscerates another cast member” in an upcoming episode. Uh, say what now?

True Blood Preview: Can Sookie Have a Regular Life?

This week's episode of  True Blood  certainly ended with an unexpected twist and it looks like things are set to take a chaotic turn as Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) nears his freedom. While a civil war is brewing between the Sanguinista and mainstreaming vampires, Russell just wants to feed on humans and if he gets the chance it's going to get very messy indeed. We ended last week with Alcide (Joe Manganiello) getting attacked and it turned out that it was indeed by werewolves. This all got tempered rather quickly; with Bill (Stephen Moyer) stopping Eric (Alexander Skarsgåard) from staking Russell as Bill believed this would save their lives. Bill's quick thinking was correct as when they returned to the Vampire Authority they were welcomed with a celebration and had their iStakes removed. Bill is much better at pretending that he believes in the Lilith ideology and Eric is unafraid to hide his disdain for the whole thing ( this gif perfectly shows this). Eric is allowed to see Nora (Lucy Griffiths) after he reveals that she is her sister. Nora is rather excited that the event that she has been waiting for is here and this is likely to be what happened at the end of the episode. Read More...
