Berg's mom comes to stay when she and Berg's dad split up. Berg becomes annoyed when she is staying out late every night at bars and clubs. Johnny and Sharon's new house burns down. When talking to the fire inspector, Pete realizes he caused the fire, ironically from not disposing properly of the smoke detector box.
