A hit sitcom built on often-raunchy material, starring Charlie Sheen and, later, Ashton Kutcher begins with the premise of a Malibu bachelor (Sheen) whose life is disrupted when his brother and 10-year-old nephew move in with him. In the ninth season, Kutcher replaces Sheen, playing a billionaire with a broken heart. Briskly written and performed, the sitcom had fun spoofing Charlie Sheen's bad-boy reputation (which ultimately led to his exit from the series) and Jon Cryer's nervous energy.

It was really good with Charlie Sheen - the great part was, that he, for the most part, did not even had to act! It was fun to watch. Now, with the Kutcher-crew, it is still good, but cannot reach its heights from before. It is a solid show that delivers jokes which make you smile and takes 20 minutes out of your day...

I really enjoyed this show back when Charlie was still a part of it. Granted, I've only seen a couple episodes with Ashton, but they weren't anywhere near as funny as when Sheen was on. I haven't seen every episode of Sheen's run, but whenever it is on TV I will keep it on and enjoy what I see. I pretty good/funny sitcom. Not my favorite, but good enough to get me excited if an episode is on that I haven't seen yet.

Even with Charlie gone , Aston has come in and done a great job , plus Jon Cryer has really stepped his part up ! Adding a Lesbian daughter to Charlie's legacy was excellent and the little pot -shots at Charlie over the new episodes w/o Charlie , especially when Kathy Bates plays his Spirit taking over some lady's body to talk to Allen is genius comedy !

I really enjoyed the show with Charlie Sheen but Ashton holds his own. He has put a new spin on it that I like.
