Amanda and Marc go out of their ways to contact Gene Simmons, who happens to be Amanda's biological father. Meanwhile, Betty is given a major writing assignment at Mode, but it doesn't go quite as well as she had anticipated. Finally, Daniel unknowingly falls for Wilhelmina's younger sister.
