Steven Carp vows to change his geeky high school ways as he has his first day at college. Steven's roommates include Lloyd, a pretty-boy ladies magnet, Ron, an intellectual sarcastic drinker, and Marshall, a shy follower who is along for the ride. Across the hall lives two girls, Lizzie, a semi-annoying freshman who is obsessed with her boyfriend back at home, and Rachel, who is a nervous reck about living away from home for the first time.
