ABC shaded demo victory on Wednesday while CBS won in a blowout in total viewers. NBC placed second overall and third in adults 18-49. FOX got fourth place in both age categories followed by last and very least The CW. NBC’s  Undercovers  continues the downward slide in adults 18-49 :  Another burn-off installment of the already canceled spy drama series reached 4.46 million viewers and a 1.0 rating/3 share among adults 18-49. 'Undercovers' Series Finale: The Show Comes to an End -- Sort of (VIDEO)

Every story is a mystery story -- even if the tale itself doesn't involve clues or a crime. Whether it's a sitcom about mismatched roommates, a game show, or a reality series about teenagers, we still watch every TV program for the same reason: to find out what happens at the end. It's a natural human desire to learn what happens next. But this might be a problem where 'Undercovers' is concerned. You see, the spy drama has been canceled. Tonight's episode (Wed., 8PM ET on NBC) is the 11th installment of the show. Two episodes remain, but they might never be aired. So, this could be the end. To Read More Click Here.

Undercovers to be Burned Off Around Christmas

Despite not having a spot in my schedule for NBC's Undercovers , I still wanted it to succeed. It was, after all, the brainchild of my hero J.J. Abrams, who created two of my favorite TV shows of all time ( LOST  and  Fringe ). However,  Undercovers  just didn't cut it, and became Abrams' first show to not even make it through a full first season. Considering the series had high expectations all around, it was a disappointment to Abrams fans everywhere, even those who had no intention of ever tuning in (like myself). Undercovers  isn't quite under yet, though. The series, which will air its final regularly scheduled episode next Wednesday, December 1, has produced thirteen episodes. December 1's episode will be the ninth, leaving four episodes in limbo. While some networks might leave those for the DVD set, NBC has decided to give you a Christmas present of the Blooms' final exploits this holiday season, sandwiching Christmas with two of the four unaired episodes. J.J. Abrams' 'Undercovers': Three reasons why it went under

A new drama about sexy spies from J.J. Abrams, the creator of Alias? That would seem to have “HIT” written all over it. And so it went that NBC’s Undercovers arrived this fall as one of the season’s most promising new shows. But even with an energetic pilot helmed by Abrams himself, appealing and strikingly attractive actors in the lead roles, and an undemanding, easy-breezy approach to storytelling, the newfangled Hart to Hart failed to stir any true passion among TV viewers. It bowed to weak numbers (8.6 million), and only grew weaker as the weeks progressed (Wednesday’s episode: 5.8 million). Why did Undercovers go under? Here are three reasons: To Read More Click here.

Undercovers Canceled by NBC

I'm actually very sad to annouce this news to my colleague, Mark, because he liked this show.   Undercovers , created by J.J. Abrams, premiered on NBC in September 2010.  Unfortunately, the ratings for this show were not great.  Not enough to justify a full-season order or continued airing on the network. It was somewhat different from Abrams' usual type of shows and centered around a husband and wife who used to be spies but now owned a catering business.  Of course, being similar to the movie  Mr. and Mrs. Smith , they eventually got back into the spy business. 'Dollhouse' star joins 'Undercovers'

Harry Lennix is to make a guest appearance in a forthcoming episode of NBC spy drama Undercovers . TV Squad   reports that the former   Dollhouse star will play Gary Bloom, the estranged older brother of Steven Bloom (Boris Kodjoe). Kodjoe admitted that he was surprised by the character's introduction, explaining: "I was told that I have a brother about a week before I shot with him, so that came out of nowhere! I read it in the script right before I shoot. It's the funniest thing, but it keeps it fresh that way." The star also revealed that Steven and Gary will have "a lot of issues to work out". Lennix previously played a recurring role in the sixth season of   24   and has also made guest appearances on   House   and   ER . Undercovers   continues on Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC. Source Here

Going 'Undercovers' with Boris Kodjoe

Playing a gorgeous, globe-trotting secret agent with an array of CIA gadgetry at your disposal, a sexy co-star at your side and J.J. Abrams writing your quips might sound like a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. Alright, it pretty much sounds like the most awesome job in the world, and we can't think of any man better suited for the task than Boris Kodjoe, who plays one half of the husband-and-wife crimefighting duo on NBC's action-packed spy drama, 'Undercovers'. In this exclusive chat with TV Squad, Kodjoe talked about the sexism of sexpionage and the importance of education, and gave us the first scoop on his character's estranged brother ... Between Kodjoe and his on-screen spouse, the equally gorgeous Gugu Mbatha-Raw, we're fairly certain that 'Undercovers' can boast the most attractive married couple on primetime, but being on billboards and bus shelters across America is nothing new for Kodjoe, a former model who booked campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent and Vogue early in his career.
