Vern Yip

Yip went to high school in northern Virginia at McLean High School in the class of 1986. He originally set out with the goal of becoming a physician, as his parents felt it would be a good career for him. After earning two degrees, just prior to entering his pre-medicine program, he changed his mind, and decided to get into architecture.[3] Yip states he would have been quite happy running a design company, and never intended to become a television personality, but he's very pleased with the new show, and he felt it was what he was meant to do.
