| Summary | Wade Andrew Williams (born December 24, 1961) is an American actor who currently has a starring role as Captain Brad Bellick on Fox's television series Prison Break. Williams and his three siblings were born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a youth, Williams was interested in drama and music, beginning at church, but he did not intend to pursue acting as a career. After high school, Williams planned to take pre-med coursework at the University of Tulsa (TU). His interest in music and drama never waned and eventually he changed career paths. Williams completed his bachelorâs degree in theatrical studies at TU and later obtained a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, where he studied under William Esper. Williams lives in Texas with his wife and daughter. Williams began his acting career at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park in The Taming of the Shrew with Morgan Freeman and Tracy Ullman.
