Broadway Plucks Mary-Louise Parker from Weeds

Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker already treads on dangerous territory as the pot-growing Nancy Botwin. This winter, she'll be taking on another edgy role as Hedda Gabler in a Broadway revival of Henrik Ibsen's classic play. While Parker has become known for her turn on Weeds --which won her an Emmy nomination this year and a past Golden Globe -- she's no stranger to the stage. She also won a Tony for her role in Proof, and last year she appeared off-Broadway in the play Dead Man's Cell Phone. For more from the source, click here .
