Nancy's Caught Between Three Lovers and a Wire on 'Weeds' (VIDEO)

Well, Nancy got herself into one heck of a predicament by the end of this week's installment of 'Weeds' (Mon., 10PM ET on Showtime). She's hooking up with everybody, and wearing a wire for the SEC though we all know she has no intention of really going straight. The wire was to salvage her deal by offering up the company's CEO, Foster, to the Feds. She was pretending to be into him to try and get some dirt on him the Feds could use. But the wire was still on when she wound up back at the shop and found herself there with her supplier Demetri, talking about this great new Afghan weed. With a wasted Foster there, Nancy couldn't tip them off to the wire or tell them directly to shut the hell up!

'Weeds': Michelle Trachtenberg Debuts Monday as Pot Dealer (Video)

To paraphrase Vince Vaughn in "Swingers": Our little Michelle Trachtenberg's all growns up. The actress is now 25, but we still remember her best as Sarah Michelle Gellar's younger sister on three seasons of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and from her role in the 1996 kid comedy-thriller "Harriet the Spy."

'Weeds': Silas Gets Drawn Into Underground Model Boxing (VIDEO)

Yes, you read that right. This week on 'Weeds' (Mon., 10PM ET on Showtime) Silas entered into the murky world of underground male model boxing. Who knew that people paid money to watch male models box in seedy underground clubs? Anyway, in order to get "delivery" boys for his weed business Silas had to agree to take part in an underground model boxing match. So he stripped to his skivvies, climbed into the ring and took on an opponent who riled him by calling him "Momma's Boy!" Them's fighting words coming from a guy wearing a sparkly purple headband.

Weeds: Should This Be the Final Season?

For the past couple of seasons, there have been rumblings online about just when Weeds would close up shop. Last season’s finale, the spectacular “Theoretical Love is Not Dead” , could have even served as a pretty heartwrenching series finale, as all of Nancy Botwin’s past dirty deeds (not done dirt cheap , thank you) had finally caught up to her, eventually resulting in one of the only truly selfless acts she had done in six seasons as she turned herself in to the police for a crime her young son Shane had committed. If the show had ended on the chill-inducing reveal of what exactly Plan C was, I could have been pretty happy, as the show’s entire sixth season was a creative rebound, with the finale its rim rocking slam dunk. 'Weeds' may continue past Season 7; 'Shameless' returns in January

Before the current season of "Weeds" began, there were reports that it would be its last (conflicting reports, to be sure, but it was out there nonetheless). Now, though, it sounds like the scale is tipping toward the series continuing into an eighth season on Showtime. "I'm optimistic," Showtime Entertainment president David Nevins said Thursday (Aug. 4) at the Television Critics Association press tour. "It's been an interesting year, and I'm excited for people to see where it goes by the end of the season as all the stories coalesce."Nevins also praises creator Jenji Kohan for "evolving her show and making it move in different places," which he thinks could help extend the life of the show. "I haven't picked it up yet, but I'm optimistic," he says.Other notes from Showtime's press tour session:- Three series -- two veterans and one new show -- will roll premiere Sunday, Jan. 8. "Shameless" will begin its second season...

Weeds Episode Promo: Playing Softball, Hardball

An uneven season of Weeds continued this week with the return of Dean and a heartfelt chat between Silas and Nancy. While they were surrounded by marijuana plants, of course. What can we expect next Monday night? On the episode "Playing with Fire," Doug will play in a company softball game that finds Nancy getting close to his boss, and the SEC approaching her with an offer. Elsewhere, Silas wants to hire male models as delivery men. Check out the official Showtime trailer now:
