Wendy Raquel Robinson

Personal life

Robinson was born in Los Angeles, California on July 25 1967. She is a graduate of Howard University earning a degree from the School of Fine Arts. In 2003, She married Marco Perkins.

Career

Raquel Robinson has played on numerous television shows and movies. She played Vanessa Tucker on the Martin Lawrence sitcom called Martin. In 1996, she played Gwen in the film A Thin Line Between Love and Hate. She played Starletta in the film Ringmaster. In 2001, she co-starred with Vivica Fox in the film Two Can Play That Game. She also played Jeanie Ellis in the film starring Martin Lawrence called Rebound. She became well-known for her role as Regina Grier in the sitcom The Steve Harvey Show which aired for six seasons from August 25, 1996 to February 24, 2002 on The WB Television Network. In 2003, she had the recurring role Sarah Willis in the sitcom All of Us. She was also featured in the sitcom The Parkers. Raquel Robinson recently played Tasha Mack in the popular CW sitcom The Game, which was canceled in May of 2009. She also voices the character Bernice on the animated TV series Family Guy.
