'White Collar,' 'Covert Affairs' and 'Royal Pains' renewed at USA

It's not much of a shocker but USA has officially given the go ahead for new seasons of three of its top dramas: "White Collar," "Covert Affairs" and "Royal Pains.""Royal Pains," starring Mark Feuerstein, landed the biggest order. USA greenlit two more seasons of the show for a total of 26 episodes."Covert" and "Collar" both earned 16 episode single season renewals."All three of these series have found ways to stay creatively fresh and culturally relevant. The execution in writing, acting and production is among the best on television. In an increasingly competitive landscape, these series got new season pickups the old-fashioned way -- they earned it!," USA co-presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel say in a statement.... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/09/white-collar-covert-affairs-and-royal-pains-renewed-at-usa.html

Top Moments: Parenthood's Heartbreaking Diagnosis and Glee's Second Shot at Britney

Our top moments of the week: 14. Worst Ode to Cops : After The X Factor 's judges' panel walks out on 19-year-old Deangelo Wallace's painful audition, he calls them "devil worshippers" and steals a $3,000 mic pack. An uninteresting, low-speed police chase through Kansas City ensues before Deangelo is booked for the theft. We're not sure what's worse: the fact that Deangelo then sings about his arrest ("I'm getting arrested, but I'll be out in a few hours. I get to ride in the front seat! I'm a celebrity!") or that the whole sequence is scored to... http://www.tvguide.com/News/Moments-Parenthood-Glee-1053274.aspx?rss=breakingnews

[Spoiler alert: The following story reveals major plot points from Tuesday's episode of White Collar . Read at your own risk.] "Why you didn't tell me?" 'White Collar' Season 4 summer finale: Neal's father is ...

"White Collar" usually hands viewers quite the cliffhangers when a season or summer run comes to an end and Tuesday night's (Sept. 18) was no exception. However -- we all saw this one coming a mile away, right? That Sam is actually Neal's dad? This mysterious "Sam" fellow has been pinging our radar since Ellen first mentioned him as being Neal's father, so it wasn't actually that shocking. It would've been more shocking if the show had gone another way, actually. How do we feel about this, fans? It will obviously give Matt Bomer excellent material to work with, as Neal deals with this revelation -- not to mention Tim DeKay, who is definitely Neal's surrogate father. But was the reveal a bit of a letdown? Speaking of Neal and Peter's relationship, this episode was a great showcase for that. The tension coupled with their having to work together, plus present at the FBI convention... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/09/white-collar-season-4-summer-finale-neals-father-is.html

'White Collar' look is 'upscale and fashiony' but 'not very realistic,' admits costume designer

We all know really smart guys who don't care much about what they wear, and few of them look as good as Mozzie (Willie Garson) on the USA Network series "White Collar.""I like the idea of our show," costume designer Karen Malecki tells Zap2it. "It's really clean and upscale and fashiony. It's a lot of fun to dress the characters in that regard. It's not very realistic; everybody looks perfect all the time, and we have a really good time with that."The only challenge is getting great clothes for a decent price and staying within the budget -- something most of us can relate to."I find great things for Mozzie at Barneys and the Gap; it really runs the gamut for him," Malecki says. "Whatever I think is good for his character."He's very jack-of-all-trades. He is a criminal mastermind who can do anything and is very intelligent, but he doesn't put a lot of thought... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/09/white-collar-look-is-upscale-and-fashiony-but-not-very-realistic.html

'White Collar' Season 4 summer finale: The bromanciest episode yet

"White Collar" Season 4 is bringing its summer half to a close Tuesday, Sept. 18 with "Vested Interest" and Zap2it has some tidbits from the episode to whet your appetite. This might be the bromanciest episode yet, since Neal and Peter are on the outs but must keep working together. That relationship dynamic continues to be nuanced and lovely. The case of the week takes our intrepid team to an FBI convention -- yes, they have those -- because there is an imposter amongst the bureau's finest. You didn't really think Sam was gone, right? 'Cause he's gotta stick around to help wrap things up with Ellen and Neal's dad. Once again, he drives a wedge in the Neal/Peter relationship because Peter really doesn't trust him. There's a cliffhanger that definitely isn't as dramatic as Mozzie getting shot or Elizabeth getting kidnapped, but we like what it sets up for the back half of Season 4. "White Collar"... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/09/white-collar-season-4-summer-finale-the-bromanciest-episode-yet.html
