Summary: (born June 7, 1955) is an American actor. He is frequently cast in "tough guy" roles such as criminals or law enforcement officers. He portrayed organized crime figure Sammy "The Bull" Gravano in the HBO telefilm Gotti, as well as Al Capone in the 1993 series The Untouchables.
Forsythe is well known for his very tall musculature and a slightly deep voice.
His film credits include Once Upon a Time in America, Blue Streak, Raising Arizona, Extreme Prejudice, Big City Blues, Savage Dawn, Dead Bang, Out for Justice, Stone Cold, The Rock, Palookaville, Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead, The Devil's Rejects, The Waterdance, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Blue Hill Avenue, Dick Tracy, City by the Sea, Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy, American Me, Firestorm, Freedomland, Halloween, and the upcoming WWE Film Journey of Death starring Triple H, in Journey of Death he will play U.S. Federal Marshall. Joel Sullivan.
In addition, Forsythe has guest-starred on numerous television shows, including Hill Street Blues, Cybill, Shark and Las Vegas. He also appeared as the lead singer of the fictional punk rock band "Pain" in an episode of CHiPS. He also starred in the Masters of Horror episode, We All Scream for Ice Cream.
He also has one daughter, Rebecca, born in 1990.
Trivia
Studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse.
Was in the alternate ending for Scary Movie 3 (2003) as Cindy's psychiatrist, but was left on the cutting room floor. (The scene is featured on the DVD.)
Began acting at age 10 and made his first acting appearance in the title role of "Julius Ceasar" in a school production at the same age.
Made his professional stage debut at age 16 in NYC.
Has co-starred with two former NFL players in their first starring roles. Brian Bosworth in Stone Cold (1991) and Howie Long in Firestorm (1998).

By age 17, he was appeared in over 40 plays in various dinner theaters, touring companies, stock and repertory before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a film career.
