Alex pranks on Justin sending him secret admirer love note and when Jerry's fun loving wizard brother pays a visit, Alex vies to have him become her wizard trainer in lieu of her by the book dad because he is more fun. But after one too many magical mishaps, Alex learns to appreciate her dad's wizardry expertise and ultimately, the kids discover that their father actually gave up his powers in order to marry their non magical mother.
