Robert Zemeckis (The Polar Express) helms this remake of the 1968 animated classic Yellow Submarine, which will use motion-capture technology. This version, like the original, tells of the Beatles' attempts to save the fantasy world of Pepperland from the evil music-hating Blue Meanies. The film will contain 16 Beatles songs performed by the tribute band the Fab Four. Its producers include Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey.
