Cloverfield 2 Has Been Put on Hold

As of now, the producers say that they haven't found an idea that is worth making into a movie.

Says director Matt Reeves, "The thing that we sort of promised ourselves is we only wanted to do another one if we could come up with something that felt as fresh to us to make as that one did."

Showing restraint making a sequel because you don't yet have a great idea?
