Looking back at the holiday weekend, "Hancock" proved to be star Will Smith's fifth film to open at No. 1 over the Fourth of July weekend.

Between Friday and Sunday, the superhero flick grossed $66 million, making for a $107.3 million haul since opening on Tuesday. In previous years, "Men in Black," "Men in Black II," "Independence Day," and "Wild Wild West" opened at the No. 1 slot over the holiday week/weekend.

Hancock might have super powers, but he doesn't have a little cockroach friend; Disney/Pixar's "Wall-E" came in second place in its second week with $33.4 million, bringing it's ten-day total to $128.1 million.

Hancock was a good movie but the plot lacked a little. It your looking for a big plot with epic crap not your movie but if your looking to entertained for a hour or two with humor and a little bit of a story line then go for it. 4/5
