William Peterson Leaving CSI...For Real

We reported back in April that William Peterson would be returning for Season 9 of CSI, but it was unknown at that point for how many episodes.

Well...we now have an answer and you CSI fans might not be so happy about it.

Peterson will only remain a regular on the program through the new season's 10th episode.

However, he will remain an executive producer and will likely also make periodic special guest appearances.

Are you sad to see Peterson go?

Sad to hear. Peterson is an essential part of the show. I wouldn't want to be in charge of trying to find an adequate replacement for him. Mind you, after almost 9 years it must be tiresome to continue on as the same persona.

This is so weird, Jorja Fox comes back as Sara Sidle and now Peterson leaves, how sad. :(

CSI without Grissom.. It's gonna be the same story as Scrubs without JD.. Just won't be the same.. Would be funny if Horatio was transferred to Las Vegas though! There's an idea haha
