An L Word Spinoff?

I know how disappointed The L Word fans are that next season is the show's last, so here's some potentially mood-lifting news:

Showtime has announced that a spinoff is being developed that will star an unspecified character from the program. The finale of The L Word will leave an open-ended plot and the spinoff would go from there, should it get the ultimate green light.

   Hmm, I wonder who it will be. If it is Jenny than I could care less. It probably won't be Kit since she is straight, and a spinoff is probably going to be geared at lesbians. If it is Alice or Shane (oh gawd, please, please Shane) I'll definitely watch it. Best bet is on Tina and Bette, but isn't that a little too obvious? I dunno. I'm not too too interested in watching spinoff about those two. I mean, I love Tina... but a little Bette goes a long way....

   Ooh. That news definitely makes me less saddened by the thought of the end of the next season. What about Helena? Could it be Helena? :O OH! THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!

   ooo....that is exciting. I agree with Meg(han) if it's Jenny I could care less as well since she annoys the hell out of me, but please please please let it be Alice or Shane *crosses fingers*... hey at least theyre doing a spin off so we won't be left with nothing.

   omg...i wud b so excited if the spin off was with shane or alice and even bette buh wudnt the spinoff have 2 include alot of the characters from the l word, since they are all friends. they might as well just keep going with the l word. but im glad we'll still have a show for us girls when the l word does go off the air. im going to miss bette the most because she is wicked hot as jodi would say.

   I want it to be Jenny..bcuz i LOVE jenny..she is the besttt..

   i would love it to be either Jenny, Alice or Shane...

   wish they didnt have to end with season 6... one more =(
