Joss Whedon explains on Whedonesque that he will be shooting a new pilot episode for Dollhouse - his new series for FOX that looks beyond awesome - and that it was his idea!

Whedon felt that the original pilot had some clarity issues with viewers.

However, the original pilot will not go to die in the land of the "Unaired Pilots"; it is simply going to become the show's second episode (with some editing).
