Forbes has released their annual list of the best paid actors and actresses.

The figures are the estimated totals that each actor earned over the course of June 2007-June 2008.

The men:

1. Will Smith - $80 million

2. Johnny Depp - $72 million

3. Eddie Murphy - $55 million

4. Mike Myers - $55 million

5. Leonardo DiCaprio - $45 million

The ladies:

1. Cameron Diaz - $50 million

2. Keira Knightley - $32 million

3. Jennifer Aniston - $27 million

4. Reese Witherspoon - $25 million

5. Gwyneth Paltrow - $25 million

In terms of the men, it makes sense that Will Smith is #1. Whatever he makes is box office gold!

However, I'm kind of surprised that Cameron Diaz tops the list of women. Is she really that big of a box office draw?
