Im not sure which is better. Gladiators Review, by TV.com

I was never a big fan of the original Gladiators, but decided to watch the new series because of the hype...

... and I have to admit, it isn't half bad!! However, I've also been watching the 90s episodes and find them to be much better than the new series. The contenders actually lasted longer than 3 seconds against the Gladiators. The new Gladiators are great though (especially Atlas and Panther) but you can tell that their personalities are so fake for the media. That's one of the reasons I don't like the show as much as the old series. But, it is a good show to watch on a Sunday, and it is becoming addictive. I just hope it gets a bit better in the upcoming episodes...
