Nowhere near as great as the first two movies! But it still is an interesting story nonetheless. The director went free range on this movie creating his own, rather than from the book of L.M Montgomery. Taking parts of Rilla's story during the war and making it Anne's. You miss the full of life Anne we had in the first two movies, and were replaced with a more serious and drab Anne. Along with her story of Gilbert they seem more distant, and they even put in another love interest that seperates them. Though, the topic of war is a serious matter, this movie maybe would have been a bit better if there wasn't such a large gap in between of when the movies were made.
