The actress, 36, got engaged in December to David Bugliari, an agent at Creative Artists Agency, who she has been dating for over a year. He proposed to her with a ring he designed, and made by Jim Lavi at Daniel Jewelry in La Jolla.
If they go through with this, it will be Alyssa's second marriage.
Most recently, the Charmed alumna has been guesting on My Name Is Earl. In addition to her acting career, she also designed a line of apparel for female baseball fans called Touch.
She and her fiance have yet to set a wedding date.
