This is a movie based on a 12 book series written by Darren Shan, the books are based on a boy that gets caught up in a world of vampires and the war are they in with a race similar to them that believe that their kind is superior to all humans, they believe that they should be rulers of the world. I have read this series all the way to the 9th book and i am currently waiting for some library fees to get paid so i can get the final 3. im lazy.

    well said, to elaborate, i have read all of the books in the series. steve (lord of the vampaneze) wants to wipe out the vampires and humans and kill darren. steve thinks darren betrayed him as a child cause he took steve's place as a vampire. all of the books are AWESOMever is and to whoever is reading this.....READ THE BOOKS
