she mispronounced the name of the french president sarkozy! please tell me that i'm not the only one who winced upon hearing Serena say "sarr-cozy"! lol, esp. after his whole debacle last year where he was in the times every year for his whole ordeal with bruni you'd think she could at least pronounce the name
I think you overestimate her acting abilities. :)
in england we pronounce it as "sarr-cozy", perhaps shes come over all british in this episode!? though its spelt like that, so how else do you pronounce it??
the r is pretty silent in the name when pronouncing it, it doesn't receive as much emphasis... and on BBC news they pronounce it properly, so is it really all of England that pronounces it that way?

oh right. i thing in in an english accent (london anyway) there isn't really much of a difference between "sa-cozy" and "sarr-cozy"?? though i've always heared it as the latter so didn't wince or notice, but as shes american she really should have prounounced it correctly over there. i can see how thats made her look like a bit of a twat.
