Clint Eastwood set a personal best and took an easy box office victory for the wide opening of Gran Torino this weekend with an impressive $29 million.
The dreadful-looking Bride Wars still managed to take-in $21.5 million (though I still won't forgive you, Anne Hathaway) and horror flick The Unborn was right behind with $21.1 million.
Rounding out the top five were Marley & Me with another $11.4 million and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button with $9.4 million.
Slumdog Millionaire didn't crack the Top 10 this week, but took in another $3.7 million for a $34 million gross. Also expect a solid week this week for Slumdog after its multiple Golden Globe wins (including Best Picture Drama) last night!
