Send a Compliment at 7:25 PDT, 12 August, 2008I generally like both. Some people say that The Hills is more popular but I reckon Gossip girl is more popular and watched. Gossip Girl is really good and is my favorite tv show and if I miss an episode I make sure I don't miss the next! (But these days I just come to sidereel to watch missed episodes or favorite episodes) it's soo dramatic and realistic, it's very interesting. but the hills, the first season and second season i watched all the episodes, but the third started to get boring, although it had most drama out of all the seasons of best friends lauren conrad and heidi breaking up. i just began to lose interest in it. all it had were these blondes (no offence to blondes as i'm one myself!) just fighting over hopeless and useless boyfriends and the girls envying each other, it just didn't seem right. so i got into gossip girl more and now i watch it all the time! so overall, i pick gossip girl. even though the hills is ok and i still watch it sometimes. do you agree or disagree? Gossip girl or the hills-which is better?!

I do like The Hills, but I'm getting a little tired of all the drama especially since so much of it like Lauren and Heidi just happening to be in the same club is clearly very set up for the show. Gossip Girl, though is pure drama deliciousness, though sometimes over the top, but since it's actually a scripted drama, this makes sense now and then for the sake of sensationalism!
Gossip Girl all the way. Haven't watched a single episode of the Hill's and can't bring myself to actually do it. Acting vaccuous is one thing, confirming it in real life is another.
Believe it or not, more people watch The Hills.
As popular as Gossip Girl seems to be on the internet, it only averaged just above 2 million viewers an episode last season. The Hills gets more in the 3 million range, and 4.7 million watched the most recent season premiere.
That being said, I am not a Hills fan, nor was I ever.
I am eagerly anticipating the premiere of Gossip Girl!
Gossip Girl is much better quality. The Hills is faux "reality", with a bunch of unlikeable people lol.
the hills no question ive watched gossip girl but i love the hills and i hav watched it from the start right from laguna beach and its real life drama everyone says its made up but its not its real and the people are not unlikeable cause me and my friends can realate to people on the show. like me i am alot like Lauren and my best mate is alot like Lo.

Gossip Girl.. Definatley. The hills just strikes me as fake, as do most 'reality' shows. It has too much drama for real life and almost seems scripted.
Totally agree with you KISSxMExIMxIRISH19, The Hills just comes across to me as a scripted teen drama, and the show claims that it is total 100% real life, but I'm not sure I can really believe that, don't you think?
Gossip Girl DEFINATLEY. I never wanted to watch The Hills. I believe it too much of those shows nowadays, and I feel it is no longer reality, that is all fake.
definatley gossip girl! i mean, i like the hills too.
but i love gossip girl. i watch every single episode. and the hills ..hm i just watch it sometimes, i'm not really into it. and one episode is so short and then they don't even show a longer conversation.
