Can Mall Cop Be Stopped? Box Office Results. - Featured

| loading

Paul Blart: Mall Cop has won the box office for a second consecutive week, taking in another $21.5 million dollars this weekend. The film has now grossed $64.8 million.

Placing in 2nd was the new Underworld film, Rise of the Lycans, with $20.7 million dollars.

Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino came in 3rd with another $16 million and is now only 3 million dollars shy of the $100 million mark. I finally saw Torino this weekend, and even with the abundance of quality movies out there (and no, I am not referring to Mall Cop), it is turning up to be one of my personal favorites of the season.

Rest of the Top 10:

Hotel For Dogs - $12.4 million

Slumdog Millionaire - $10.6 million

My Bloody Valentine 3-D - $10.1 million

Bride Wars - $7 million

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button - $6 million

Notorious - $5.7 million

This shows that there are NO good movies coming out if this terrible mistake of a movie is top of the leader board after 2 weeks :-)
